Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Repair: Install new pipes, fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters), and appliances; repair leaks, clogs, and faulty parts.
System Maintenance: Inspect and test plumbing, drainage, and sewage systems for problems, performing preventive maintenance.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan pipe layouts.
Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local and national building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues using diagnostic tools.
Cost Estimation: Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates for clients.
Collaboration: Work with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid plumbing license/certification.
Knowledge of various pipe materials (PVC, copper, etc.) and tools.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Attention to detail and physical stamina.
Customer service skills.
